Get Involved
BamCashea is a network of passionate individuals, using grassroots connections to support critical work to empower people in rural communities in Ghana, and we need all of the help we can get. We are currently seeking volunteers to help support our mission and expand our impact. Check out our current needs below. If interested, please send an email to shine@bamcashea.org
- Marketing and Business Development: Assist with keeping Social Media content up-to-date with all event and BamCashea information. Responsible for sending press releases and keeping all media updated on upcoming events and project photos from Ghana. Build and search for new business relationships. Create, keep and update contact database.
- Community Awareness: Work with Executive Director to schedule regular presentations to service clubs, community groups and potential funding organizations. Provide consistent messages to recruit new support. Attend networking opportunities. Attend various meetings.
- Fundraising Events: Help develop, coordinate, maintain and implement the annual fundraising plan in accordance to budgeted goals. Maintain fundraising events calendar. Plan, schedule and execute individual events in conjunction with the BamCashea Board. Participate in post event de-briefing. Help plan and run pre-set and ongoing Fundraising events along with new fundraising events.
- Grant Writing: Take the initiative to pursue specific funds from organizations with similar missions and/ or resources to contribute to specific projects. This may include sourcing grants for reforestation, fuel efficient equipment, local capacity building and skills training, and more.
